John Piper has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, please pray
John Piper is one of the most influential authors in both our lives helping us to know, love, and serve God more. You can get a taste for the way God has used him so mightily by checking out http://desiringgod.org . I (Greg) also listen to a podcast of his radio show almost every morning on my way to work. It sends me off into my day with a high view of God and a thankfulness for His saving work on the cross through Jesus.
While browsing Justin Taylor’s blog, Between Two Worlds, I came across the sad news that John has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. To read John’s explanatory letter, go here. Please pray for John to trust in God’s sovereignty and in Jesus Christ so that he can continue glorifying God by being satisfied in him.

Thanks for this post. I’ve heard of John Piper for a few years now, but have never read or listened to him. Hoever, today I’ve listened to the past four broadcasts on Romans 3. I have been blessed by listening.
