Kate meets the van der Schalies
Sunday afternoon we had lunch with some good friends of Greg’s from California, Kurt and Sarah van der Schalie. It was great to see them! As you can see below, Kate quickly took a liking to Kurt. Greg and Kurt grew up together in San Diego. Interesting fact about Kurt: He has actually been surfing in Maryland! Who knew we had waves?
