How far will $11 go?
Though I don’t get things for free at CVS like my friend, Lisa, I may well be on my way! I found the above ride-on Firetruck for $4 last week (Kate LOVES it!), the daisy rain boots for $3, and a brand new pair of adorable Stride Rite sandals (not pictured above, but they’re even in Kate’s WIDE size!) for $4 (usually $45 full price). All this bargain bliss because I decided to stop by a nearby thrift store at the recommendation of another mom in my neighborhood, and she was right — it can be a jackpot for kids’ stuff!

Wow…what great deals! I don’t think I could score rain boots, sandals, and a ride on for $11, even at CVS!

That’s fabulous. I recently became addicted to the Goodwill. I’ve found so many beautiful, fully lined designer jackets. My closet is packed with great second hand stuff. Today at lunchtime I scored the cutest Gucci purse (don’t know if it’s real, but sure looks like it) for $20. That’s the most I’ve paid for anything at the Goodwill. I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to retail!
