One Week Old…
Ella is one week old today! She was born last Tuesday, the 17th, on my (Beth’s) Dad’s birthday, so she will always share a birthday with her Grandpa Croft, which is very special. She has already been such a joy to us, and she is such a sweet baby! She is doing so well…eating well and sleeping VERY well. She has been such a calm, quiet, sweet baby — much more “chill” than Kate was during her first week, and Kate was a good baby! She also feels so tiny to us at 8 lbs. 6 oz. — vs. Kate at 9lbs. 15 oz!!! We had to go buy some newborn size clothes! I (Beth) am recovering well and enjoying this quiet time at home with Greg, Kate, and my super-helpful Mom. After a tough pregnancy, I feel so much relief (no nausea!), and I am so thankful to the Lord for bringing me through these months and giving us the gift of this precious little girl. On top of that, the Lord was very kind to me with a very quick (2 hours!) labor and a very smooth delivery.
