Tuesday, September 1st, 2009Meet my dear friends, Jennilee and Meredith. I have sat with both of these gals and had hours upon hours of meaningful conversations, much laughter, and sometimes even tears in the midst of some very real trials. They are precious gifts of God to me! Over the last many months, I have watched these two precious friends enter into some of life’s greatest joys! Paul and Jennilee now have a son, Liam, (isn’t he ADORABLE?!) and Meredith is ENGAGED (I might add to the man we had been hoping and praying she would eventually marry)!!! That’s a wedding planning book in her hands :). Greg and I have been deeply rejoicing with them as God has so kindly and abundantly answered our prayers for them! One of the unique parts of this for me as a mom has been watching Kate’s reaction as she still remembers to pray for them and we get to share with her how God has answered our prayers and given such good gifts to our friends. Kate has such an excitement about “Mr. Wright” and “Baby Liam,” and I hope she will continue to learn that we pray to a good and sovereign God.
