One Year Stats & 3 Year Old Prayers
Friday, February 19th, 2010Ella’s one year check-up was yesterday, and she kept up her reputation at the pediatrician’s office as one with “the most unbelievably sweet temperament,” to quote the Dr. :) Dr. S commented after he was done with her exam, “What one year old will let me sit and look at their ears with a smile on her face and even voluntarily turn her head for me to check each ear?! Unbelievable.” Apparently Ella! She loves Dr. S. I think he reminds her of Grandpa! Okay, onto the stats: Weight: 21.8 lbs, 60% percentile. Height: 29.5 in, 75% percentile. We are so thankful she is healthy, growing well, and that she is ridiculously sweet! :) Big sister, Kate, has started to pray for Ella at meal times, which is fascinating to us to hear what she will pray next. This is what we heard from her at dinner, “We pray that Ella would come to know God at an early age and that she would obey Mommy and Daddy by not pulling her bow out.”
